Maia Maduashvili
Professor’s Assistant and Ph.D student of the Kartvelian Linguistics program at the Scientific-Research Institute of the Georgian Language at the Faculty of Humanities at the Tbilisi State University (TSU), Georgia.
Born 1984; Graduate the Faculty of Phililogy of the TSU, Georgian Language and Literature, BA (2005); Graduate the Faculty of Humanities of the TSU, Linguistics, MA (2007).
Major research interests: The History of the Georgian Literary Language, Georgian Dialectology, Language Documentation.
M. Maduashvili is a participant of several scientific projects: ‘Standardization Subprogram of the Georgian Language Program’, sponsored by Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia (2007); ‘Georgian National Corpus’, sponsored by VolkswagenStiftung Foundation (2012-2016);
‘Category of Negation in Kartvelian Languages’, sponsored by TSU (2015-2016).
